My farm is in the Charlotte metro area, and I deliver.
How it works
- Free delivery on anything over $75. No minimum beyond that, no fee.
- Up to 30 miles from the farm — Waxhaw, Indian Trail, Matthews, Mint Hill, Stallings, Pineville, Harrisburg, Fort Mill and into Charlotte.
- One run a week. Order by Wednesday, it's at your door Friday.
- No shipping box, no two-day clock. I hand it to you frozen.
That's why the number is $75 instead of $150 — I'm not paying a carrier, I'm driving.
What $75 looks like
Lower than you'd think. Any of these clears it:
- Five packs of smoked sausage
- Three packs of bacon and a couple of ground pork
- One pork shoulder
- Two packs of chops and some breakfast sausage
- One Tailgate Box — six packs of smoked sausage, $79
What there is
This is one batch of hogs. Whatever the site says is left, is what's left. No restock date, no back-in-stock email, because I genuinely don't have more of it.
The individual cuts are the fastest way to try it — everything I raise, one pack at a time. The weighed cuts are priced off their own weight, so a 4.21 lb shoulder is $52 and a 10.29 lb shoulder is $128. Same rate a pound, and there's exactly one of each.
If you'd rather not work it out yourself, the boxes are built so you can just cook from them.
Two things worth knowing before it lands
It'll smell odd when you open a pack. That's the vacuum seal, not the meat — it's been without oxygen since the day it was cut. Five minutes on the counter and it's gone.
It's darker than supermarket pork. That's six months of an animal actually using its muscles. Darker is not older.
More on that here: what to do when it lands.
How to order
Put it in the cart like normal. If you're inside the delivery area, the free local delivery option shows up at checkout once you're over $75.
If it doesn't appear and you think it should, email me and I'll sort it — Contact@thesaltymarefarm.com. There's a person on the other end of this.
